Care for your turnings: Your woodturning is a natural product whose properties change with temperature and humidity.
Please keep away from direct sunlight and heat source or checking may occur.  If surface needs to be renovated you may use any good quality paste wax and soft cloth to restore luster. 
If "Food safe" is engraved on bottom, you may reapply a nontoxic oil finish such as mineral oil or salad bowl oil to keep bowl from drying out after cleaning.  Do not let bowl stand or soak in water.  Certain very thin or delicate turnings are for decorative use only and are not meant to hold heavy objects.
